Palm Beach County Incentives

The Business Development Board (BDB) is Palm Beach County's economic development organization, with a mission of attracting and assisting non-retail business relocations and expansions.

Palm Beach County offers an Economic Development Ad Valorem Tax Exemption Program. A new or expanding business may apply for an "economic exemption" for improvements to real property and/or tangible personal property not already on the Palm Beach County Tax Roll. The applicant must create and maintain the required number of full time jobs. The business project must have a positive impact on the local economy of Palm Beach County. The requirements are identified under program overview, program criteria, and Ordinance No. 2005-004 in the following link: Ad Valorem Tax Exemption.

Other County Incentives applicable to Delray Beach are:

  1. Training Grants and Incentives
  2. Job Growth Incentive Fund
  3. Attraction Incentive Program
  4. Film and Television Incentive Grant Program

Businesses may direct their inquiries concerning Palm Beach County Incentives to the Business Development Board.
