State IncentivesEnterprise Florida Inc. is Florida's primary organization devoted to statewide economic development. Florida ranks among the best states for business because of its pro-business state tax policies and competitive cost of doing business. The state is proud of its competitive and targeted financial advantages. For businesses in certain targeted industries, the state offers additional incentives. Business looking for workforce training and/or road infrastructure may also qualify for specific incentive programs. The Business Development Board of Palm Beach County, Inc. will assist a business with the State of Florida's economic development programs identified below, and it will help companies with the Qualified Target Industry Tax Refund Program. In addition, the Palm Beach County Economic Development Office and the applicable municipalities coordinate assisting businesses with the other programs identified below. Various Florida agencies and resources exist to assist with business development and/or bio-research projects in Palm Beach County.
